The things in life that entertain me....are what's happening in the media and television. I love celebrity gossip, movies, and sitcoms. I always try to be caught up on what's happening in celebrities lives because it's just so much more fun to follow!

Just a little review on The Hunger Games I think is in order! I went to see this movie on Saturday at the IMAX and it was a great choice. Definitely worth the money. I absolutely loved the movie! The acting was great, the costumes were great, the storyline was great. I even cried during an emotional scene. It was very well done. People who have read the books told me they thought it stay pretty true to the books. I am currently now reading the first one and trying to finish it before the weekend so I can see it after reading the book. I'm a third of the way through and it's very hard to put down. I am noticing slight differences, but I mean, I understand everything can't be included or stay the same. The book is a very easy read, and explains a lot more of what's going on than in the movie. I would have to say if you don't have people there that have read the book to explain some things in the movie, which I did, then you might be a bit confused. Overall, I caught on pretty easily. 2 thumbs up!

I was asking myself this week, what is the big hullabaloo that everyone is talking about? Well folks, it's The Hunger Games. At first when previews were coming out I really wasn't that interested. Then, my sister told me they were based off a book series and that she loved them. Well, my sister has a good taste in books so I took her word for it. Now obviously everyone is reading the books before they see the movie, which comes out at midnight tonight. Just to let you all know I plan on seeing it Saturday, at the Rave, hopefully in IMAX (if I can get my friends to pay the extra money). I figure it's going to be a well filmed good movie so why not? Movie going is by far one of my favorite things to do and Morris, has....well....a crappy movie theater to put it bluntly. So when I came to Peoria and went to the Rave for the first time I thought it was the biggest theater and I was such a little kid about it. Anyways, the main actress in the film, Jennifer Lawrence, who plays Kat, looked so familiar to me and then it clicked she was in X-Men: First Class. I thought she was pretty good at playing Mystique so I think she should be excellent in The Hunger Games. Go see it!

This summer, after graduation, I will be all settled in at my new apartment at Grand Prairie. With my new "adult" apartment we are getting actual cable. I've lived in Bradley's student apartment for 2 years so we just get cable and don't choose a service. BUUTTT this summer I will be having a cable package that allows me to have HBO for 3 months. That's perfect! I can actually watch True Blood when it actually airs this summer!
I'm so excited I could just...idk...but I'm so excited. The last season was NOT my favorite (it involved witches). Like they don't have enough weird things going on. If you didn't know the show is based on a book series, which I have not read and don't plan on it. Anyways the character I would like to say that is my favorite and my sister's is Eric Northman. That's all I'm saying. Watch it.

Okay...I just HAVE to talk about a serious matter. Are you ready? I'm sure you've heard...SNOOKIE IS PREGNANT. I mean it was only a matter of time. If you aren't familiar with Jersey Shore I won't bother you with what's going on specifically because it's a waste of my life when I watch the show. I am worried for this child's life. Her bf, Jionni, is with her for some darn reason. When I watch the show he is just always so embarrassed by her so I really don't know why you would date someone as extreme as she is if you can't handle someone being that like that regularly. I just hope that when the baby is here she has a maternal epiphany and will become a better, less partying person. I would love to hear everyone's opinion on the matter.
